Bimetal thermometer is based on a bimetal sheet wound into a circular bend. When one end is heated and expands, the pointer is driven to rotate, and the working instrument displays the temperature value corresponding to the thermoelectric potential.
Three Working Principles
Bimetal uses the characteristic that when the temperature of a substance changes, its resistance also changes to measure temperature. When the resistance value changes, the working instrument displays the temperature value corresponding to the resistance value.
